Origin

Some people see products.

Scott Struthers sees possibilities.

For more than four decades, Scott has built a legacy around a simple idea: the products we interact with every day shouldn't just work better — they should make life more beautiful.

In 1983 he co-founded Sonance and created an entirely new category, pioneering the in-wall and architectural speaker market. Instead of forcing homeowners to design around technology, technology could disappear into the architecture itself. Revolutionary then; standard now.

Philosophy

A legacy of seeing what others miss.

The most transformative innovations are often hiding in plain sight — a product people have accepted, a system nobody questions, an everyday experience that could be better.

  • ii.

  • iii.

An everyday experience that could be better.

How can this make everyday life better?
